1. Who we are
Conforma ("we", "us") provides automated web-accessibility scanning, monitoring and reporting software as a service. These terms govern your use of the service at https://conformahq.com and any subscription you purchase.
2. The service
Conforma runs automated WCAG 2.2 tests (axe-core) against websites you add, produces scores, issue lists, reports and accessibility statements, and re-scans on a schedule. Automated testing detects roughly a third of WCAG success criteria, the machine-checkable ones. Conforma is a testing tool, not a legal service: results, scores and generated statements do not constitute legal advice and do not guarantee compliance with the European Accessibility Act, EN 301 549 or any other law. Full conformance always requires human review.
3. Your account and acceptable use
You are responsible for your account credentials and for the sites you add. You may only scan websites you own or are authorised to test (for example, a client site you manage under contract). You may not use the service to scan sites without authorisation, to probe or disrupt third-party infrastructure, or to resell raw scan capacity outside the white-label features your plan includes.
4. Plans, billing and taxes
Paid subscriptions are billed by our merchant of record, Paddle, who handle payment, VAT/sales tax and invoicing. Plans renew automatically (monthly or annually) until cancelled. Plan limits (number of monitored sites and pages per scan) are described on the pricing page. We may adjust prices for new billing periods with at least 30 days' notice.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing; access continues until the end of the paid period, and no further renewals are charged. If Conforma didn't work as described, contact us within 14 days of a charge and we will issue a full refund: no forms, no argument. Refunds are processed through Paddle back to your original payment method.
6. Your data
You keep all rights to your data (sites, scan results, reports, branding). We process it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. White-label reports you generate are yours to distribute to your clients.
7. Availability and liability
We operate the service with reasonable skill and care but provide it "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted availability or of detecting every accessibility issue. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for regulatory fines, penalties or third-party claims relating to the accessibility of your (or your clients') websites.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email at least 14 days in advance. We may suspend accounts that break section 3. You may export your reports and delete your account at any time from Settings.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Dutch law; disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. Questions, notices and refund requests: support@conformahq.com.
